Typically the design process takes between 6-8 weeks. In addition, the tendering process can take at least 4 weeks depending on the time of year.

If your garden is between 20 – 150m2 you can expect the build stage to be between 4- 8 weeks. Larger projects will take longer.

It depends on the materials, elements and furniture you choose.

• Gardens of 20m2 start at 30k for labour and materials.

• Gardens of 100m2 start at 50k for labour and materials.

• Gardens of 200m2 start at 70k for labour and materials.

Design fees are charged separately to the build cost and are calculated specifically for each project. Basic design fees for a 20m2 garden would start at approximately £3,000.

I always prefer meeting my clients but, yes, it’s possible to design without meeting in person. We can arrange a site survey of your garden followed by remote meetings to develop the design.

Yes, it’s possible to provide you with a planting plan. I can then arrange for a trusted team to plant them or you can do this yourself.

We don’t offer it personally but we can arrange for a trusted landscaping company to give you a quote.

We don’t have an in-house team of landscapers but we have teams of landscaping companies who regularly build our gardens for us. We will recommend the best match for your location and requirements.

You can plan a garden at any time of year, however, the ideal time to start the design process is in the Autumn. This gives us the winter months to plan and put the design out to tender ready for it to be built in the early part of the following year.

The best time is between October - April. Bare-root and root-balled trees are only available in Autumn and early winter and should be planted immediately.
