The Soothing Oasis
Restful, comfortable and characterful space
Abundant & soul-soothing planting
This London garden draws direct reference to the local Huguenot history. The surrounding brick walls are infused with character informing the monochrome material palette. The Herringbone paving and furniture design echo the interior wooden floors.
This is a restful garden with comfortable circular seating allowing our clients to enjoy the fire’s glow well into the evening. The water bowl’s bubbling surface sits amongst an abundance of planting to soothe the soul.
A fully fitted outdoor kitchen enables the perfect space for dining and multiple seating nooks to enjoy the London skyline.

fire
There is something mesmerising about a flickering flame, it’s a primal attraction. The Morso barbeque positioned next to the seating area not only roasts but when the cooking is done, it becomes a beautiful sculptural focal point to gather around. The cooking embers can be harnessed to create a cosy fireplace; the vertical chimney extracts smoke away from the seating zone allowing the flickering flame to be enjoyed.
water
The inclusion of water in this urban garden gently distracts from neighbouring gardens and city sounds. We have positioned a cluster of pots framing the seating and nestled within the planting a singular water bowl that ripples softly, giving a sense of tranquil intimacy. The simplest of water features can transform a garden.
“Georgia was a true professional throughout as well as just being great to work with; everything was delivered to the highest standard and in good time.”
